A goods movement reference (GMR) will be generated for every vehicle (loaded or empty) making a crossing via a GVMS route. The driver will need to present a valid GMR to the carrier at the UK port of departure and will not be permitted to proceed without one.
GVMS provides live status updates and sends notifications if the GVMS record is incomplete or invalid. Our team will monitor this status to ensure the crossing goes smoothly.
